After she's done promoting "Iron Man," Paltrow plans to take the summer off while Martin's band Coldplay releases its album "Viva la Vida" in June. Paltrow and Martin don't discuss each other or their marriage in the media. The key to managing two big careers in one family? "It's thought and consideration, really. Respect. Thought. And, yeah, kind of being respectful of what's going on," she says.

Her own resume is filled with critical hits (2001's "The Royal Tenenbaums") and misses (2003's "View From the Top"). She'd love to do a musical on Broadway someday, but says that creatively, she's open to anything - except bad attitudes.

"I just want to work with nice people. There's too much stress otherwise. A lot of times, I saw a good script and an OK director or a good director and an OK script, and I thought I'd make it good," says Paltrow. "I've learned that all the elements have to look really right before you start."
