Like many working moms, she agonizes about being away from her kids. The current media tour promoting "Iron Man" around the world has been hard on her, even though the world has seen a sexier, saucier Paltrow in revealing minidresses and towering stilettos.

"I keep bursting into tears because this is the longest I'll ever be away from my kids. Now it's six nights, which is the longest by double that I've ever been away from them," she says. "So quite pathetically, I kept bursting into tears. It's so painful to even miss one day."

Still, Paltrow remains fired up about the positive buzz surrounding "Iron Man." She calls her experience on the film "easy and wonderful and inspiring."

That's partly because her kids and mom, Blythe Danner, would come to the set, reports Favreau. "This was a good, fun, family-friendly first gig for her since having Moses," he says. "This is the first time she was working since she had her son. She's very much into family."
