Paltrow has her life in order (2/4ページ)

Like workaholic Pepper, Paltrow, 35, used to be married to her job. "Definitely, the primary relationship in my life during my 20s was my job. No question," says Paltrow, who won a best-actress Oscar for "Shakespeare in Love" 10 years ago. "I worked so hard. It's funny. I look back at that time, and it was kind of amazing and wonderful and I was all over the place. But I really didn't have very much of a life."

Today, she has plenty, thanks to husband Chris Martin and their kids, Apple, almost 4, and Moses, 2. The family lives in London most of the time, where Paltrow has been a homebody for the last few years and is dubbed a "yummy mummy" in the British press.

Her life, she says, is boringly normal. "When I'm home, I get up very early and spend the morning with my kids. My daughter goes to school in the afternoon and my son naps, so I'll exercise and do work stuff. I'm just really home. I'm with them and doing the school run. Cooking a lot. I make everything except meat. I don't eat meat. I like thinking about what's in season and what I want to make today."
