Paltrow has her life in order (1/4ページ)
Gwyneth Paltrow saw bits of herself in Pepper Potts, Tony Stark's crisp, capable assistant. In "Iron Man," out Friday, Pepper sets up news conferences, schedules flights and gets rid of Tony's unwanted women.
"We have a lot in common. Big time. I'm very organized," says Paltrow. "I think all women are like that. They're kind of like the brain of the house. They have to organize everything - food, shopping, doctors. We have a lot going on."
Plus, says director Jon Favreau, Paltrow is as classy and clever as Pepper. "She is really quite used to handling a lot of different aspects of life. She's used to being in the public eye. She's well-spoken, well-educated, she knows about art and politics," Favreau says. "Everybody fell in love with her on set. She's just funny and really open and thoughtful. She was calming influence on all of us."
